Megan Daly is a current third-year studying Fine Art Print Making at The University of Ulster in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She has previously completed her Foundation Degree also at The University of Ulster. Megan has shown her works in a multitude of exhibitions both locally and internationally. Megan's work looks at microbiology specifically cells and blood vessels. Her work combines scientific imagery and pattern to create unique and unusual prints. Megan Daly plays with all types of printmaking techniques, particularly screen-printing, photo-intaglio and etching. Megan prints on a number of surfaces such as paper, wood, and fabrics. She believes that constant play and experimentation can create your best prints. She also adds that inspiration can be found in everyday life and even in what is thought to be the most mundane.
